The Panasonic KX-TA624 Advanced Hybrid Telephone System offers a host of time saving features designed to streamline communications within the home and better manage your outside lines as well. The optional door intercom and/or door opener adapter allows up to four Door Intercoms to be added to the system. When the button on the door intercom is pushed, the system will ring only those phones which you've selected, and when answered, will establish a two-way conversation with whomever is at the doorphone. Each door intercom can have a unique ringing pattern, allowing you to distinguish which door intercom was pressed. This adapter also makes it possible to open a door or gate and can even be used to turn on outside lights from any telephone that is connected to the system.

The KX-TA624's hybrid station ports accommodate most standard single line devices such as designer phones, PC modems and fax machines without any additional installation costs! Simply plug them in to any system jack and you're up and running.

If multiple family members share one line, the optional DISA OGM/Fax Detection Card can help outside callers reach their intended party directly. With this option, the outside caller will hear a message instructing them to dial a single digit code for the desired family member. The caller is then routed to that person's extension automatically. And each family member can also have their own private answering machine, even though they share the same line!

The DISA feature also allows authorized system users to call in from outside and then utilize one of the system lines to make outgoing calls. (Two lines required)

If a fax call is received )and a CNG tone is detected) during the outgoing message, the call will be automatically routed to the designated fax extension, eliminating the need for a dedicated fax line.

STATION RESTRICTIONS
Any device (system phones, cordless, modem or fax) that is connected to the system can access all lines to both make and receive calls. If desired, toll restriction can deny access to specific lines or allow local calls only.

MORE FEATURES
Features like Flexible Ringing Assignment allows you to pre-determine which phones will ring on all or selected lines. For example, when used with the Night Mode feature, the system can automatically prevent the phones from ringing in the children's rooms after hours. It can also prevent certain phones from answering certain lines on the system.

The Room MOnitor feature can be used for example, to silently monitor children in another room from other telephones in the house.

Paging allows you to make voice announcements to all proprietary extensions at the same time. This feature is great for calling everyone to dinner without having to yell all over the house. In addition, a paged party can even answer your page from any system phone, anywhere in the home!

Confrencing allows you to talk with two outside parties at the same time-to help plan a birthday party or other social event, for instance.

With an appropriate music source connected to the system, Background Music can be heard throughout any proprietary phone and will temporarily stop when the phone rings or the handset is lifted.

System Speed Dialing allows you to pre-program up to 100 frequently called numbers which can be dialed automatically form any system telephone.

Caller ID Compatibility displays the incoming caller's phone number, or name and number when used with a Panasonic system display phone.

Automatic Redial allows the proprietary system telephones to automatically redial the last number dialed up to 15 times. This feature allows you to get through to the busy party while you are doing other things.
